Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
Bryten Real Estate Partners is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our property operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating schedules, work orders, and training.
- Organize and prioritize service requests, ensuring timely completion and accurate recording of activities.
- Oversee turnkey operations, ensuring vacant units are made rent-ready in a timely manner, and performing various repairs to maintain quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, as well as minor electrical repairs.
- Conduct regular walk-throughs of vacant units to identify make-ready needs, coordinating efforts with the management team to schedule and assign tasks.
- Complete grounds work, including trash pickup, sweeping, pressure washing, clearing, and cleaning the dumpster area, and maintaining the landscape.
- Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance service responses, serving as an on-call contact as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or specialized vocational training, with at least three years of experience in building and facility maintenance, including supervisory experience.
- Licensing and trade certification in HVAC, Electrical Wiring, or Plumbing are highly desirable.
- Ability to read and write in English at an intermediate level to read diagrams, meters, instructions, and write reports.
- Basic math skills for measuring and other tasks.
- Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
- High level of integrity to handle confidential resident information.
- Proficiency in using computers for data entry, word processing, spreadsheets, or custom applications.
- Background and credit check, pre-employment drug screening, and employment verification are required.
