The Field Service Engineer II is responsible for ensuring the operational integrity of advanced medical imaging systems for our clients. This includes system applications, quality assessments, calibration, operating system support, software troubleshooting, and technical assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Support (75%):
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with high-end medical imaging equipment.
  • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Document customer service interactions and maintain internal service records.
  • Address challenges related to medical imaging applications, electrical systems, computer hardware, and software, as well as mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Comply with Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety, and other relevant regulatory standards.
  • Conduct service, calibrations, and quality assurance checks for imaging systems in accordance with ISO13485 standards.
Technical Support (10%):
  • Provide technical assistance for high-end medical imaging equipment via online platforms or telephone.
  • Engage with customers daily to ensure effective resolution and follow-up.
  • Monitor system performance through evaluation and tuning; troubleshoot hardware, software, networks, and system management systems; conduct load/stress testing; escalate issues to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) as necessary.
Applications Support (5%):
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technicians, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to stay informed about emerging imaging solutions and trends.
Software Support (10%):
  • Ensure continuous operational support for software issues related to X-ray and Vascular modalities.
  • Utilize Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) for viewing, archiving, and database management.
  • Prepare users through training programs and provide ongoing software support.
  • Offer online and telephone support for Windows and Linux operating systems.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of high-end medical imaging equipment.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license with a safe driving record as per company policies.
  • Basic computer skills and understanding of network interactions.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as needed.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet business needs.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds and perform physical activities such as bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
