About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care services, including evaluating patient needs, developing treatment plans, and administering prescribed therapies.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Evaluate patient conditions and develop personalized treatment plans based on medical diagnoses.
  • Administer respiratory therapeutic services according to physician orders, department policies, and procedures.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring accurate recording and communication of patient conditions.
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions, providing information on community support groups and available resources.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, adhering to established cleaning and sterilization protocols.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and rapid responses.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent experience and education.

Licensure and Certifications:

  • BLS HCP certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Registration with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) or equivalent state licensure.

Work Environment:

  • Day Shift (United States of America).

Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
