Key Responsibilities:
1. **Financial Commitment**: Engage with patients to facilitate their understanding of treatment options and secure their financial commitment as per the Specialist's diagnosis.
2. **Patient Education**: Provide comprehensive information on various financial options available, ensuring patients are well-informed about their choices.
3. **Schedule Management**: Proactively manage Specialist schedules to maintain productivity and efficiency, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed in advance.
4. **Communication Liaison**: Act as a vital link between the office and specialty teams, coordinating consultations, treatment plan adjustments, and follow-up appointments.
5. **Insurance Pre-Authorizations**: Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations for patients requiring them before treatment commences.
6. **Team Collaboration**: Participate actively in team meetings and daily huddles to align on goals and strategies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous experience in dental, insurance, or business fields is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in office practices and patient insurance processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
