Job Description

JobsRUs is seeking a skilled Production Assembler to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Production Assembler, you will play a critical role in the assembly of small parts and components, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customer's expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assembly Operations: Perform a range of routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations, following well-defined instructions and company policies.
  • Quality Control: Review shop traveler route cards and uncomplicated schematic drawings to confirm the correct sequence of operation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Component Placement: Position very small parts, such as ceramic boards, crystals, gages, fine pins, fire wire, solder particles, and epoxy, under a binocular microscope using tweezers or positioning fixtures.
  • Wiring and Soldering: Adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts, ensuring precise connections.
  • Testing and Inspection: Bond or seal parts or assemblies with epoxies using direct heating elements or ovens and perform various in-process testing, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Demonstrate all safety policies and procedures, adhering to company guidelines and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations is preferred.
  • Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Skills: Good mechanical aptitude, ability to operate a variety of hand tools and light machinery, capable of performing basic mathematics, and effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
