We are seeking a skilled Residential Maintenance Technician for our Naperville, IL property.The ideal candidate will enhance the value of our residential asset by delivering exceptional experiences to residents, guests, vendors, and team members. You will be responsible for maintaining apartment homes, common areas, and grounds with a focus on efficiency, safety, and asset preservation.
Responsibilities:- Perform various maintenance functions including plumbing, HVAC repair and installation, appliance repair, electrical work, painting, caulking, snow removal, life safety systems, and general cleanliness.
- Respond to emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
- Utilize computer skills and learn specialized software programs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve property management goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in English.
- Adhere to industry legal requirements, including federal and local Fair Housing regulations.
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prior experience in multifamily housing maintenance is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various maintenance functions.
- Availability to respond to emergency calls outside of regular business hours.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software programs.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
