CDL B Driver/Helper Job Description

At All American Waste, we're committed to providing exceptional service and innovation to our communities. As a CDL B Driver/Helper, you'll play a crucial role in our waste collection process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist CDL drivers in collecting waste material on routes
  • Operate collection vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Perform pre-and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles
  • Lift and empty containers into the collection vehicle
  • Make decisions relative to the acceptability of materials for collection
  • Take an active role in improving safety and health in the workplace
Requirements:
  • 1 year of previous experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
  • Commercial Driver's License B (CDL) with an air brake endorsement is a plus
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to operate packer mechanism controls safely
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
