Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to lead the design and implementation of network infrastructure services for the Defense Enclave Services (DES) team at Ft. Meade, MD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise in network design, integration, test, security, and implementation of Network Services for DISA DoDNet.
  • Develop and maintain technical documents, analyses, and reports.
  • Participate in technical development of staff and oversee the management of 5+ direct reports.
  • Propose new solutions to Network Domain Architects to define and/or continuously improve network infrastructure services.
  • Collaborate with the Release Management team and other key stakeholders to plan and execute network upgrades and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree and 15+ years of experience in network engineering and cybersecurity.
  • DoD IAT level II baseline certification (Sec+).
  • Advanced/Professional level vendor certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto).
  • 10+ years' experience engineering and troubleshooting networks, including extensive routing and switching experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% including OCONUS potential travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience providing engineering and operational services on DISA supported networks.
  • Experience with Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) identity management solution.
  • ITIL v3/v4 certification/training.
