Job Summary

Triad Service Center is seeking a skilled Field Service Mechanic to join our team. As a Field Service Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing light industrial equipment in the Naperville, IL area. Your primary duties will include diagnosing and repairing equipment, providing excellent customer service, and staying organized to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair light industrial equipment, including floor scrubbers, sweepers, and other commercial equipment
  • Provide exceptional customer service by performing on-location preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Visually inspect, test, and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions
  • Install new or repaired parts, clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, belts, and other parts of machinery
  • Stay organized by scheduling repairs and PMs in similar locations on the same day, as time and location permits

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds
