Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance tasks to align with Platinum Companies' standards and brand expectations.
  • Adhere to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations concerning property management, guests, and staff.
  • Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures, including the identification and removal of hazards.
  • Maintain, repair, and sanitize guest rooms in line with established preventative maintenance protocols.
  • Execute preventative maintenance as outlined in maintenance logs.
  • Assess the time and scope of necessary repairs.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of all guestroom surfaces, including bathrooms, floors, walls, windows, and mirrors.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the hotel's pool, including chemical adjustments and filter cleaning; complete maintenance logs and requests.
  • Restore furniture and fixtures in guest rooms, including cabinets, tables, chairs, and counters, with painting and finishing as needed.
  • Report significant maintenance issues, unusual observations, or safety concerns to management immediately.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks of tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Assist in inventory management processes.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and operated safely and effectively.
  • Perform routine inspections of the property, both inside and out.
  • Uphold franchise standards and address any inspection deficiencies.
  • Follow procedures for reporting equipment, furnishings, and supplies that require repair.
  • Implement energy conservation practices as per company guidelines.
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in service areas.
  • Provide on-call emergency maintenance services as necessary.
  • Control operational expenses to meet or exceed budgetary goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs as required.
  • Collaborate closely with management to ensure effective communication across departments.
  • Greet and assist all guests in accordance with company standards, anticipating their needs.
