Multilingual Speech-Language Therapist for Kindergarten Student

Bilingual Therapies is seeking a skilled Multilingual Speech-Language Therapist to conduct a speech evaluation for a young kindergarten student in Connecticut.
We are looking for a passionate professional fluent in Russian to work with our team and make a lasting impact on the child's life.
About the Evaluation:
- The evaluation will take approximately 1 hour, and the therapist will assess articulation concerns for the 5-year-old student.
- The therapist will communicate effectively with the student in Russian, as they do not respond well in English.
- A written report in English summarizing the evaluation results will be provided.
- The therapist will collaborate with the evaluation team to understand the student's speech patterns.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive speech evaluation to identify articulation issues in the kindergarten student.
- Develop and implement strategies to address the identified speech concerns.
- Cultivate strong relationships with the student, parents, and educational team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and continuing education requirements to maintain expertise and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Connecticut SLP license.
- Fluent in both Russian and English.
- Experience working with young children, particularly those with articulation concerns.
