Job Summary

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to join our team. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and production of roadway-related construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety throughout the team.
  • Organize and plan work with the Superintendent, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting project deadlines.
  • Direct oversight of time sheets, labor, and equipment, as well as daily reports and productivity monitoring.
  • Enforce quality control and company safety policies, maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent to develop material handling plans and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Conduct daily huddles, stretching exercises, and weekly Toolbox Talks to promote team engagement and safety awareness.
  • Provide job hazard analysis and ensure that all work activities are conducted in a safe and controlled manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Foreman in roadway-related construction.
  • Knowledge of calculating and setting grades, as well as operating various types of roadway construction equipment and forming systems.
  • Valid driving license and OSHA 10 certification.
  • Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles.
