About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Quantitative Risk Manager to join our team at FTI Consulting, Inc.

This role involves developing and implementing risk management strategies for our clients, using your expertise in financial markets and derivatives valuation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, mathematics, or engineering, with experience in economic consulting, trading firms, or other financial institutions.

We offer a competitive salary of $150,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies for clients
  • Analyze and interpret complex financial data
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD degree in a quantitative discipline (finance, mathematics, physics, engineering, etc.) or MBA (if preceded by undergraduate degree in STEM field)
  • ~4+ years of post-graduate professional experience in economic consulting, trading firms, or other financial institutions
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with Excel; proficiency in MS Office
