Job Title: Staff Nurse, Interventional Pulmonary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Interventional Pulmonary team. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse, Interventional Pulmonary will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients undergoing interventional pulmonary procedures. This includes pre-procedure assessment, administration of moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring during procedures, and post-procedure recovery and teaching. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and experience working in a procedural setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide competent and compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing interventional pulmonary procedures.
  • Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
  • Conduct pre-procedure assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the Interventional Pulmonologist and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and new technologies.
Requirements:
  • Current Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Experience working in critical care and procedural settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
