Job Summary
NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in an outpatient orthopedic setting. As a key member of our clinical team, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in carrying out prescribed treatment programs for patients with orthopedic conditions.
- Implement evidence-based physical therapy services, including manual therapy techniques and exercise programs, to promote patient recovery and functionality.
- Maintain positive relationships with patients, caregivers, and facilities to enhance and expand client relations.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in physical therapy and Select Medical policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants and passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE.
- Valid state license and/or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- CPR certification.
