Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Design Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive design strategy aligned with market trends, customer preferences, and company objectives.
  • Product Innovation: Drive innovation in architectural design, floor plans, elevations, and community planning for single-family, multi-family, and custom homes.
  • Hands-On Design Execution: Participate in the architectural design process, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and high-quality deliverables for a range of residential projects.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and the delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Research and Development: Stay current with emerging trends in residential architecture, construction technologies, and sustainability practices.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven Design Excellence: 7-10+ years architecture experience with demonstrated expertise in residential architectural design.
  • 3D Modeling Expertise: Proficiency in architectural software and 3D modeling/visualization tools (esp. Revit).
  • Passion for Innovation: A passion for creating exceptional living spaces that meet the needs of diverse communities.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of the real estate development process, construction costs, and market dynamics.
  • Process Management & Collaboration: Demonstrated success managing processes and fostering collaboration in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of strong, productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Uncompromising Integrity: A reputation for upholding the highest ethical standards and maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
  • Architecture License (UT): Active architectural license in the state of Utah (or ability to quickly obtain it via NCARB license).
