**Job Title:** Assistant Professor - Cyber Security

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join our Cyber Security team. As a tenure-track faculty member, you will teach Cyber Security and Computer Science courses, contribute to the design and evaluation of learning outcomes, and engage in scholarly pursuits within your area of specialty.

**Responsibilities:**

• Teach Cyber Security and Computer Science courses consistent with the ongoing needs of the Computer Science Department.
• Contribute to the design and evaluation of learning outcomes.
• Engage in scholarly pursuits within your area of specialty.

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an institutionally accredited college or university.
• Two (2) years of applicable experience in networking, various operating systems, programming, and security issues.
• Computer literacy, including internet and other computerized resources.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check or security clearance for work with federal government and/or contractors should it be required.
• Demonstrated experience or commitment to supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in professional or educational settings, particularly in relation to Hispanic and underserved communities.

**Estimated Salary:** $77,693 - $81,624 per year, plus additional compensation for assignment of summer quarter courses or courses taught outside of the full-time position during fall, winter, and spring quarters.
