Physician Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Advisor to join our team at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, New York. As a key member of our care transformation team, you will conduct clinical reviews on cases referred by case management staff and/or other healthcare professionals, ensuring alignment with utilization review guidelines.

As a Physician Advisor, you will work closely with approximately 30+ employed hospitalists, as well as key systems, regional, and market teams, to drive care management transformation across the full continuum. Your expertise will be instrumental in advancing our health system's clinical agenda, ensuring alignment with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements and system objectives.

You will also act as a consultant and resource for physicians regarding their decisions relative to appropriateness of hospitalization, continued stay, and use of resources. Your progressive experience in clinical practice and leadership role will be invaluable in shaping our care management strategy.

• MD/DO required
• Internal Medicine experience strongly preferred
