Key Responsibilities- Cash Handling: Maintain petty cash drawers, balance daily, and prepare daily deposits for all bank accounts.
- Accounts Receivable: Create batches, perform data entry, and monitor student billing email accounts.
- Customer Service: Greet visitors, determine needs, and assist with student inquiries.
- Administrative Support: Maintain filing systems, provide general receptionist duties, and perform other tasks as assigned.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in higher education, banking, or accounting preferred.
- Skills: Good written and oral communication skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
The Financial Services Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Associate Director of Student Financial Services and will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
The work schedule will be Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please note that the work schedule may be altered or extended during peak business periods.
