Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Premier Estates of Pawnee, a part of Arboreta Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and nurse aides.
  • Conduct resident assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.
Requirements
  • Current RN or LPN licensure in the state of Iowa.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices, medical terminology, and relevant laws and regulations.
