Associate Program Director for Internal Medicine

Catholic Health System is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Internal Medicine Physician to serve as the Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program in Buffalo, NY. As a key member of our team, you will assist the Program Director in mentoring and guiding residents in their professional development, focusing on curriculum enhancement and program coordination.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Program Director in supervising the Medical Residency Program and maintaining affiliation with the State University of New York at Buffalo.
- Provide in-patient attending physician services in 3-South Medical Service at Sisters of Charity Hospital and medical clinic services as determined by system need.
- Act as a clinical advisor to residents and assist with resident recruitment, scheduling, support, evaluations, and administrative oversight.
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board eligible or certified, MD or DO.
- Current and unrestricted New York State license and DEA.
- Eligible for faculty appointment at the State University of NY at Buffalo, with participation at faculty meetings and medical conferences as needed.
- Catholic Health has 4 hospitals and 6 campuses throughout Western New York State.
