The Clinical Technician 2 is responsible for delivering direct patient care for those with routine and standardized care needs, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role requires maintaining professional competencies and actively seeking opportunities for professional growth. Effective communication and collaboration with team members, patients, and their families are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse for routine and standardized care needs.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families, fostering a cooperative work environment.
- Assist unit leadership in managing educational records for other Clinical Technicians.
- Demonstrate respect and understanding for various clinical disciplines.
- Maintain professional competencies and pursue opportunities for development.
- Identify personal learning needs through self-evaluation and progress assessment.
- Take responsibility for ongoing professional development and seek to enhance clinical knowledge.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Shift: 12 hours
Schedule: Full-Time, Days vary
Training: Attendance at a 6-week training program is required.
- Experience: Minimum one year in an acute care setting as a clinical technician or successful completion of an acute care clinical rotation in an accredited RN program.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Training: Must attend a six-week training orientation upon hire.
- Skills: Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
