Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support staff (therapy technicians)
  • Bill for services within the respective setting, following guidelines and regulations
  • Comply with the rules and regulations of the respective Physical Therapy board and state
  • Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care
  • Understand and utilize adaptive equipment
  • Evaluate and create a plan of care for patients
  • Modify the plan of care as indicated based on patient condition
  • Utilize Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • State-specific Physical Therapy licensure
Physical Demands:

Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is also required.

*Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
