Job Summary
The Director of Physician Practice Operations is responsible for the workflow and performance of the Oncology Division to achieve expert care, excellent customer service, and maximal physician/staff productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Senior Vice President of Physician Practices regarding strategic planning, development, continuous quality improvement, and financial/budget reporting and monitoring.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Oncology Division.
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability and growth.
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration or equivalent.
- Experience
- Five (5) years of experience in a healthcare setting, including involvement with physicians, community, program planning and implementation, and operations.
- Management-level experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Skills
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management.
