Position Overview:

The part-time Rehabilitation Therapist at Banner Estrella in Phoenix is responsible for self-scheduling. The facility is seeking coverage on specific days of the week for the upcoming months. The ideal candidate will be part of a collaborative rehabilitation team, rotating through various units including orthopedic, neurological, ICU, telemetry, and medical/surgical departments, as well as the Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional capabilities and limitations, establishing individualized care plans and treatment objectives.
  2. Implement tailored treatment strategies while considering the patient's diverse needs, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
  3. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with professional standards and departmental guidelines.
  4. Communicate essential patient information to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes.
  5. Demonstrate flexibility in managing caseloads and assist in various patient care areas as needed.
  6. Provide appropriate supervision and guidance to support staff and students in delivering quality patient care.
  7. Engage in departmental activities and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications:

Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program and hold a valid state license. BLS certification is required. Candidates should demonstrate their clinical competencies and relevant experience throughout the interview process.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional education and experience in related fields are advantageous.
