Key Responsibilities:
- Layout, fabrication, assembly, and installation of structural components, foundations, bulkheads, and deck packages
- Acquire knowledge of structural weld joint fit-up, welding symbols, and associated operations
- Align components using jacks, clips, and wedges based on blueprints and templates
- Perform tack-welding on structural elements as necessary
- Interpret and apply technical documents, including company drawings and manuals, to complete assignments
- Utilize basic mathematical skills for various tasks

This role is based at a facility in North Kingstown, RI.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Capability to work in elevated positions, confined spaces, and extreme temperatures
- Proficiency in interpreting technical documents and performing layout functions
- Possession of basic hand tools is essential

Preferred:
- Experience in construction or manufacturing sectors
- Familiarity with metal fabrication and military shipbuilding
- Completion of vocational or technical training programs
- Military or Navy background

Essential Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to achieve organizational objectives

Physical Requirements:
- Climbing, color vision, crawling, kneeling, light to medium lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, and twisting

Work Environment:
- Exposure to cold, dry, dusty, and hot conditions, as well as noise and oily environments.
