Job Description

OneStaff Medical is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiology Technologist to work in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment. As a Medical Imaging Professional, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as CT scanners and X-ray machines, to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related modality.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per-diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for long periods, in a fast-paced environment.
