Key Responsibilities

Join our team as a Lead Financial Strategist within the Columbus Forge Blades Operations division, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategies and enhancing operational efficiency. This position provides a unique chance to demonstrate your skills in financial assessment, forecasting, and strategic planning while aiding the success of our vibrant organization.

Oversee the collection and analysis of Factory HFM/Cost per Hour/Factory Productivity data. Manage the data collection and analysis for cost reduction initiatives. Direct the consolidation and evaluation of capital expenditures. Support the annual strategic financial planning processes and deliverables. Collaborate with and assist functional business leaders on various projects. Offer guidance on footprint business cases.

Learning Opportunities

Enhance your skills in evaluating operational efficiency and performance metrics essential to manufacturing processes. Identify cost-saving opportunities by analyzing data to uncover inefficiencies and recommending strategic actions to improve cost-effectiveness. Gain insights into strategic decision-making and financial forecasting techniques vital for long-term business planning and growth. You will work with systems such as HFM, OneStream, Hyperion Essbase, SAP, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.

Required Qualifications

Advanced degree with 3+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Cost Accounting; OR Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate's degree with 7+ years of relevant industry experience. U.S. citizenship is required for this position; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access and handle sensitive data necessary to support our government and military programs.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Math (STE M ), preferably in Accounting or Finance. Familiarity with SAP, HFM, BW or Power BI, and MS Office applications. Experience in analyzing and manipulating large datasets. Background in Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Financial Planning. Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Government accounting compliance (GAAP). Proficiency in Excel-VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and creating PowerPoint presentations. Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, including senior management. Understanding of manufacturing or aerospace environments, and large corporate finances.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
