KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Efficiently operate forklifts while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Accurately document production metrics as required.
  • Assist in loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Utilize scan guns effectively when handling products.
  • Capable of lifting over 50 lbs. consistently.
  • Maintain a standing position for up to 8 hours during shifts.

Specific Duties for Cheese Production:

  • Set up and operate the curd line with precision.
  • Fill curd boxes weighing between 25 lbs. and 50 lbs., and stack them on pallets.
  • Understand the setup and cleanup processes for the barrel line.
  • Create barrels and boxes for product sales.
  • Fill and seal 500 lb. barrels, then organize them on pallets.

Specific Duties for Whey Production:

  • Assist dryer operators with shutdown and cleaning tasks.
  • Fill, bag, and stack whey products onto pallets.
  • Prepare shipping loads accurately in accordance with the Bill of Lading.
  • When assigned, support pan operators in cleaning evaporators.

COMPENSATION:

  • Full-Time position at $26.07/hr plus benefits and paid time off.
  • Salary increase to a minimum of $28.07/hr after 6 months.
  • Overtime compensation applies after 8 hours in a shift.
  • Additional bonus pay available for overnight and Sunday shifts.

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Primarily seeking candidates for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
  • Availability for a minimum of 2 weekends per month is required.
  • Full-Time roles guarantee 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
