Biospecimen Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Biospecimen Associate to join our team at Dawar Consulting. As a key member of our life sciences and diagnostics team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' research and development efforts.

• Develop and implement strategies for collecting and managing biological samples.
• Collaborate with external vendors, project teams, and pathologists to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
• Manage purchase orders and procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of biological materials.
• Utilize internal databases to identify and retrieve relevant biological samples for research projects.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance expectations and regulatory requirements.

• Strong knowledge of oncology terminology and human anatomy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with biological sample procurement and management.
• Familiarity with FFPE (formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded) material.

• Associate's degree in a biological discipline or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of relevant work experience in a biological laboratory setting.
• Bachelor's degree in a biological discipline or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Laborant/Technical Assistant experience with additional education or training.
