Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our Food Services team at INTEGRIS Health Canadian Valley Hospital. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients by preparing high-quality meals and snacks.

• Prepare and portion food for patients, employees, and special functions
• Perform various baking tasks, including preparing bread, pastries, and other baked goods
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, adhering to National Patient Safety Goals and Oklahoma State Health Department guidelines
• Coordinate food preparation and storage, ensuring proper sanitation standards are met
• Document meals and snacks served, as required by the Federal School Lunch guidelines

• Must be able to read and write English and possess basic math skills
• 1 year of previous food service experience as a Cook or in a Food Prep 1 position is preferred
• Experience with the Federal School Lunch Program is a plus for Children's Place and IMH positions
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
