Job Title: Senior AWS Cloud Full Stack Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AWS Cloud Full Stack Developer to join our Enterprise Platforms and Capabilities (EPC) Technology Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, resilient, and observable applications on the AWS cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cloud-native applications using AWS services such as Fargate, S3, Glue, Lambda, and Secrets Manager.
  • Build and maintain robust UI components that provide a rich user experience.
  • Develop applications with high test automation and code coverage.
  • Migrate applications from on-premises locations to the cloud service providers.
  • Develop, modify, and extend code for building cloud infrastructure and automate using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and peers to define and implement solutions that achieve business goals.
  • Perform problem analysis, data analysis, reporting, and communication.
Requirements:
  • Expert-level proficiency in designing and developing full-stack applications with solid knowledge of UI technologies.
  • Good proficiency in Java, with Python skills a plus.
  • Expert-level skills in SQL queries in databases like Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Solid hands-on experience leveraging Docker containers.
  • Strong technical skills in software engineering in Java EE/Cloud technologies and proficiency in Java Lambdas, Java Streams API, and Java functional programming.
  • Hands-on experience in building/implementing cloud-native applications, preferably on the AWS platform.
  • Excellent knowledge of AWS Compute, AWS Storage, AWS Data Integration, Lambda, Secrets Manager, and AWS Core services.
  • Good understanding of AWS Identity and Access Management, AWS Networking, and AWS Monitoring tools.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD and deployment automation using GitLab pipelines.
  • Proficiency in cloud infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience of building distributed systems with microservices, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
  • Passion for developing loosely coupled, testable applications using automated unit tests, integration tests, etc.
