Job Summary

Hockers Home Services is seeking a skilled Residential Electrician to join our team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and quality electrical work. As a Residential Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical repairs, maintenance, and inspections in residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems accurately and efficiently
  • Perform repairs consistent with and exceeding National Electrical Code standards
  • Increase customer loyalty by maintaining a clean working area
  • Educate and offer customers appropriate upgrades that you can complete immediately or at the scheduled time
  • Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects
  • Document work completed with before and after photos
  • Demonstrate safe working practices and methods
  • Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts, and installation teams
  • Keep your company truck clean, inside and out
  • Keep your truck inventory up to date
  • Properly complete paperwork
  • Join the on-call rotation
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Have and maintain a clean driving record

  • Deliver 5-star service experience to our clients and community
Requirements
  • Two (2) years of electrical service background
  • Must have an electrical license
  • Exceptional technician skills, including being intuitive, hardworking, fast, efficient, and willing to learn our system
  • Possess the necessary tools, knowledge, and drive to exceed industry standards
  • Be able to climb in and out of box trucks and vans, able to lift over 75 lbs, and work in tough environments like the summer heat and winter cold
  • Can pass the Federal background and drug screen; a clean driving record and current driver's license are a must
  • The drive to succeed and grow
