Job Title: Senior Motion Planning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Motion Planning Engineer to join our team at Woven Planet. As a key member of our AD/ADAS organization, you will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art motion planning algorithms for our autonomous vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient motion planning algorithms for various driving scenarios.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate motion planning with perception, simulation, and infrastructure.
  • Design and implement data-driven approaches to improve system performance and safety.
  • Develop and maintain reusable software components for motion planning.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure the development of maintainable code and adherence to software practices.
Requirements:
  • M.S., Ph.D., or equivalent in Robotics, Control, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in motion planning algorithm development for autonomous vehicles.
  • Expertise in efficient computational geometry and linear algebra methods.
  • Proficiency in C++ and familiarity with Python or other programming languages.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
