Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at Northeast Georgia Health System, Inc. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence within the unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that patient needs are met and goals are achieved.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions and promote a culture of transparency and respect.
- Stay current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines in critical care, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and advance the profession.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of three years of experience in critical care, with a strong background in patient assessment, care planning, and implementation.
- National certification in a clinical specialty (e.g., CCRN, CEN, or PCCN) or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic setting.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or higher.
- Five years of experience in critical care, with a strong background in patient assessment, care planning, and implementation.
- Advanced certification in a clinical specialty (e.g., CCRN-E, CENP, or PCCN-E).
