Discover Goodwill of Southern & Western Colorado is seeking a highly skilled Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our retail center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers in a welcoming manner and responding timely and professionally to customer inquiries.

The ideal candidate will have one (1) year of retail sales or cash handling experience and be able to operate a computer-based point-of-sale cash register system to ensure the quality of product and pricing are accurate at the time of purchase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain a well-stocked and organized sales floor
  • Operate a computer-based point-of-sale cash register system
  • Verify till counts and maintain a balanced cash drawer

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of retail sales or cash handling experience
  • Able to use basic math such as adding, subtracting, and multiplication
  • Able to effectively communicate with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers
