Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist with Critical Care Experience to join our team at CHI Good Samaritan in Kearney, NE.

Overview

This 200-bed Level II Trauma center provides comprehensive care to Central Nebraska and serves as a regional referral center. Our hospital features a 24-bed open ICU and 24/7 hospitalist service, offering a unique opportunity for collaboration and growth.

Practice Details
  • We have an established Anesthesia Team comprised of 6 physicians, working alongside a private CRNA group that enjoys autonomy in case management.
  • Our coverage is limited to one hospital, ensuring a stable and predictable workload.
  • The case mix includes General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, Neuro, and Cardio/Thoracic procedures, providing a diverse range of experiences.
  • We utilize the EPIC EMR system for seamless documentation and communication.
  • Our team boasts a low turnover rate, fostered by a strong family-like environment and generous compensation package.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care:
    • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
    • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
  • Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
    • Provide clear and concise medical information.
