Project Manager Job Description

DCS Contracting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects, establishing project objectives and policies, and maintaining liaison with client contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from preconstruction through project closeout
  • Develop and maintain client relationships for long-term success
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and liaison between client representatives and field employees
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of contract and project documents
  • Create and manage project schedules and coordinate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA safety standards
  • Supervise project activities of on-site project engineers, field superintendents, and other field resources

Requirements:

  • Ability to execute project delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, or Construction Manager at Risk
  • Knowledge of CPM Project Scheduling, MS Office Suite, and MS Project
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Understanding of construction software such as Hard Dollar, On-Screen Take Off, and Agtek
  • Knowledge of Arizona Heavy Civil market a plus
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively through all mediums

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 6 years of construction-related project management experience with a general contractor
  • Previous experience with HCSS, Sage CRE 300, TimberScan, or similar software preferred
