Role Overview:
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the modernization and delivery of next-generation SAOC aircraft, which are essential for maintaining critical command, control, and communication during national emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a comprehensive instrumentation test team throughout extensive test operations, including:
- Design and installation of data acquisition packages
- Test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting
- Data management and flight operations support
- Oversee the instrumentation process from initial design through to de-modification, ensuring alignment with requirements development and integration.
- Engage in high-level Integrated Test discussions with senior leadership and coordinate with Test Engineering & Operations teams regarding instrumentation needs and schedules.
- Act as a Control Account Manager, providing status updates on work activities.
- Conduct functional analysis, timeline assessments, and detailed trade studies to translate instrumentation requirements into precise hardware and software specifications.
- Serve as a technical liaison to the Test Engineering Manager.

Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with ground and flight test programs, including compliance with 14 CFR Part 25 and Military Systems testing.
- Proven ability to independently manage functional responsibilities for small to medium-sized programs.
- Familiarity with protocols such as Ethernet, 1553, ARINC 429, and CAN bus.
- A Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, typically requiring 14 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:
- Leadership experience in recruiting and managing team members, including performance evaluation and development.
- Experience with large transport category jet aircraft testing and complex instrumentation data acquisition systems.
- Proficiency in generating electrical and mechanical drawings for instrumentation installations.
- Background in software development or coding.

Compensation and Benefits:
SNC Ltd offers a competitive starting salary range of $138,000 to $190,000, with additional performance-based annual incentive pay. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision plans, a 401(k) plan with a 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, three weeks of paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is necessary as this role mandates an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment.
