Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
As a Bankruptcy Litigation Counsel, your primary duties will include:

  1. Effectively representing clients in bankruptcy court, safeguarding their rights and interests.
  2. Accurately preparing and filing bankruptcy petitions within required timelines.
  3. Negotiating favorable settlements with creditors on behalf of clients.
  4. Providing clients with informed advice on bankruptcy-related matters, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  5. Conducting thorough legal research to remain updated on bankruptcy laws and regulations.
  6. Collaborating with the legal team to devise effective strategies for managing intricate bankruptcy cases.
  7. Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism, upholding the firm's esteemed reputation and ethical standards.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with a strong emphasis on bankruptcy law.
  3. Active membership in good standing with the state bar.
  4. In-depth knowledge of bankruptcy court procedures, including petition preparation and filing.
  5. Demonstrated experience in creditor negotiations and client advisement on bankruptcy issues.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of simplifying complex legal concepts for clients.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
