Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced On-Call Psychiatrist to join our team at Quartet Health. As a Psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional mental health care to pediatric patients at a children's hospital located in the Philadelphia area. The ideal candidate will have an active Pennsylvania medical license and experience in medication management and therapy for child and adolescent populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess patients' mental health conditions
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
  • Prescribe and monitor psychopharmacological medications to manage symptoms
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients
  • Utilize crisis management techniques when necessary to address acute mental health issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements
  • Doctorate Medicine of Osteopathic Medicine required
  • Medical License to practice in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Ability to travel on site on an as-needed basis
  • DEA license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical License to practice in the state of New Jersey
