Teller Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Teller to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to accurately conduct all credit and debit transactions, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• ">
• Greet members with a smile and provide quality service in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.">
• Develop and maintain account relationships, provide solutions, and resolve member problems through quality service and product knowledge while maximizing cross-selling opportunities.">
• Perform routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, cashier's checks, redeem savings bonds, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing on credit union data processing system.">
• Process information pertaining to members' accounts and route to proper department for processing.">
• Provide in-person, by telephone, or mail explanation concerning their account as authorized by the member.">
• Educate members on value-added products and services and employ related cross-selling/service standards.">
• Process and print Instant-issue debit cards at member request.">
• Assist members in opening sub-accounts.">
• Conduct daily opening and closing of terminal; accounting for assigned cash; balancing to terminal close report; remitting daily work to supervisor, and other support activities.">
• Adhere to all policies and procedures.">
• Other duties as may be assigned.">

Secondary Responsibilities

• ">
• Place cash order for Service Center on a weekly basis.">
• Assist in performing end-of-night job duties and check scanning.">
• Work Saturdays in the Gurnee Service Center on a rotating basis.">
• Fulfill Receptionist duties at the Gurnee Service Center, as needed.">
• Work as ITM MSR, as needed.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).">
• One year of cash handling and customer service experience.">
• Two years of cash handling and customer service experience preferred.">

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
