As a vital member of the educational team, you will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to a diverse student population. Your expertise will help enhance student outcomes and empower them to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:- Provide specialized occupational therapy services to students according to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct thorough assessments, gather data, and prepare detailed reports.
- Collaborate effectively with educators and families to develop individualized treatment plans and support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Focus on an elementary school caseload.
- Hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution or be a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.
- Possess an active or pending license to practice as an OT or COTA in the state of Delaware.
- Demonstrate experience working with school-aged populations, preferred but not required.
- Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and families.
