Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with occasional Saturday shifts.
Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing and accurately documenting various clinical tasks, which may include:
- Measuring and recording vital signs
- Conducting throat cultures
- Administering injections
- Changing dressings
- Performing urine dipstick tests
- Conducting vision and hearing screenings
This role plays a vital part in ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality patient care. The Medical Assistant will foster positive relationships with patients, their families, and fellow healthcare professionals, contributing to the overall goals of the practice.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Medical Assistant Certification is preferred
- BLS/CPR Certification is mandatory
- A minimum of two years of experience as a Medical Assistant is required
