Job Summary

Midway University is seeking qualified Adjunct Faculty Members to teach in the School of Arts and Sciences. As an Adjunct Faculty Member, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, investing in students, and participating in institutional activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the School of Arts and Sciences
  • Invest in students through mentorship and academic support
  • Participate in institutional activities, such as committee work and professional development
  • Involve students in research and professional experiences, as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in a specified discipline from an accredited college or university, with 18 hours in the appropriate discipline being taught
  • Ph.D. required to teach graduate-level courses
  • Commitment to teaching excellence and a minimum of three years related work experience
  • One year of teaching experience in higher education preferred
  • Ability to interact with students, educators, and institutional representatives in a professional manner
