Psychiatrist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Extra Help Psychiatrist to join our team at Illinois State University's Student Health Services. As a key member of our mental health team, you will provide exceptional care to college-aged patients, addressing a range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.

This Extra Help position is a part-time opportunity to work up to 28 hours per week, providing flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based care. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping our students achieve optimal mental well-being.

• Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide medication management and psychotherapy services
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

• Illinois Physician license
• Board certified/eligible in Psychiatry
