Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, maintain accurate records, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Oversee the management of pharmacy staff, including training, development, and performance management.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor stock, and ensure that medications are available when needed.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage pharmacy finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
  • License: Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • Background Check: No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in pharmacy software and systems.
