We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Med-Surg Ortho Nurse - PRN Tier II Nights. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, collaborating with other disciplines to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (preferred).
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
