Job Overview

Engages in multiple functions within a distribution center, encompassing case picking, shipping, receiving, returns processing, loading, order fulfillment, and inventory replenishment. Utilizes material handling equipment to transport goods throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employs material handling equipment to identify and deliver products, supplies, and tools to specified locations.
  • Assists in organizing and loading shipments onto trucks for customer distribution.
  • Confirms the quantity and quality of incoming goods from suppliers and distribution centers.
  • Utilizes packing lists to gather items for customer orders, including constructing and securing pallets of products.
  • Inspects stock items for wear and defects, reporting any inventory discrepancies to management.
  • Returns misplaced items to their appropriate storage locations.
  • Maintains a tidy work environment in line with company safety standards.
  • Conducts inventory control tasks as necessary.

Work Environment

Typically situated in a comfortable setting, with regular exposure to conditions that may cause noticeable discomfort or moderate risk of injury or illness, such as temperature variations, moving machinery, loud sounds, and fumes. Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds in a physically demanding environment. Ability to stand for extended periods, exceeding 60 minutes, and perform repetitive tasks such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting.

No travel is required.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred. Specialized training or certification may be necessary. Generally, 2-5 years of relevant experience is expected.
