Our Pain Therapies division offers solutions for chronic pain, spinal fractures, cancer, and severe spasticity. Our key Pain Therapies include Spinal Cord Stimulation, Drug infusion systems, and RF Nerve Ablation.

A Day in the Life:

As a Clinical Specialist, you'll support the Neuromodulation Pain and Target Drug Delivery Therapies in surgical coverage, follow-up support, troubleshooting, customer service, and education. You'll be engaged in basic market development activities, depending on the needs of your assigned territory and district.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Representing Medtronic during surgical procedures, ensuring access to necessary equipment and products.
  • Managing patients through all phases of the clinical process, educating them on Medtronic products.
  • Providing clinical support in surgeries, re-programmings, trouble-shooting, and follow-ups in hospitals and clinics.
  • Responding to technical inquiries from customers, patients, and colleagues.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of competitive products.
  • Training physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters related to Medtronic products and therapies.
  • Assisting Management and Sales Training in education and training of new employees.
  • Complying with event reporting and documentation using Medtronic technology tools.
  • Managing inventory for case coverage, including timely transactions, cycle count accuracy, and product retrievals.
  • Contributing to quarterly goals associated with specific initiatives at the district, regional, and national levels.
  • Partnering with sales representatives to achieve business goals and documenting quarterly activities.
  • Mentoring Associate Clinical Specialists.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, please ensure these minimum requirements are evident on your resume:

  • A High School Diploma or GED with a minimum 6 years of clinical or medical sales experience.
  • An Associate's Degree with a minimum 4 years of clinical or medical sales experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical or medical sales experience.
